NCLEX REVIEW SFSU

Nclex nursing review class at SFSU

Hi guys,
Just wanted to give you an update on what’s going on. I talked with Sally and she’s reserved 25 seats for us. There were 40 students that went from the last class. I also talked with Bonnie and wanted her to come share her experience about the NCLEX review class, but unfortunately she can’t make it. Debbie and Bonnie will share their experience in writing and it’ll be posted on the blog.
I also need your registration forms and $200(check, money order, credit card) by March 10th. Please hand it to me and I will fed ex everything to sally.

Download registration form here.
As far as accommodation, I’ll let you know about the different places as I get more info on it. When making your reservation, don’t forget to mention that you’re there for the NCLEX review and you’ll get an additional discount.
If any of you know of any places to stay that’s close by please share it.
Please email me with any questions or suggestions,

Hey Guys,
I was thinking we should all try to wear the same scrubs for pinning so that we look “uniform” and I found some nice looking, reasonably priced scrubs at A1 scrubs .com. Here are the links, we can talk about it next class session and see if we all agree. The top is $20 and the pants are $17.

Hi guys...I have some information for you about the Delta College NCLEX review course.

It will begin on Monday, June 11th and end on Friday June 22nd. There will be 40 hours of classroom time, and 2 hours of computer testing. The course is free to all students who qualify for the student success program. All students are required to pay the enrollment fee, and once everything is completed, the grant will reimburse the students.

Thanks,

Christine
Hi everyone. I have asked for some advice regarding how we should go about chosing our speakers for our pinning. Upon great reflection, I feel that the most appropriate and fair way to go about it is like this....

A sign up sheet will go out next class session. If you are interested in speaking, place your name unto the area of interest. You will be asked to give a small presentation to our group, telling us why you would like this oppurtunity. Soon after, these names will go onto a voting paper the following week, and the speaker will be chosen through democratic representation of majority.

Does this sound fair to everyone? If you have any other suggestions, please let me know asap.

Thank you all...

Christine

Hi there friends...a few announcements

1. Life Uniform has moved, they are in the Lincoln Center now.
2. Wal mart has white scrub tops and bottoms, they are only $9.99 a piece, if anyone is interested in getting their scrubs for cheap, pinning requires a full white uniform.
3. I called the office today, yes.....in our last, poorest semester we have to pay for our ATI's. Sucks, I know....if anyone is having a hard time paying, call Kim Thompson in the grant office and see if she can help you.
4. Mary Neville will be coming in to take a vote on the caps in two weeks...ladies, I urge you to please consider the feelings of some of your classmates regarding the caps...I for one, look forward to the giant thing, it is tradition and very important to many of us.
5. Caps are $15.00 a piece, cash or money order. I will bring one on Monday for all to see.
6. Last but not least.........this is our final semester. We are all tired, many getting a bit stressed (including myself), let us just hang in there, being friendly to one another, continuing support of eachotther, encouragement, kindness, compassion...we are almost there friends. And looks like everyone of the class ahead of us that took their boards...all passed on 75 q's....they are RN's now!!! The light is getting brighter, let us not shield ourselves, but bask in the warmth of it's glow (remembering the spf 99 of course! :)...take care guys~!

NCLEX Watch

Hey you nursing seniors,
Keep your eyes on the NCLEX post on our blog if you want to get the low down on what it will be like. Kristine Cavanaugh took her test today and said that the format was just like the Davis NCLEX CD which is from Sally Lagerquist and the San Franciso Nursing Review, 4 day course that we just went to from the 9th to the 12th. I have heard this from other students who have taken their tests and passed. So get the Davis book and CD if you can and definitely go to the Review and practice session at the end of your semester.
See Christine Moles for more info.

Thank You

I want to say thanks for the thoughts, well wishes and prayers. Other than using occasional eye drops and needing to get my contact lens and glasses prescriptions changed the first of January, I am back in the seeing world and am very grateful for it.

Bonnie

Hi everyone, if you have called or emailed Bonnie please do not think that she is just ignoring you. She has developed a bad inflammation of both her eyes and can’t see at all. She was seen in ER today instead of doing clinical. (A clinical experience of the bad kind.) She is on bed rest till the end of the week and WILL NOT be available by phone or email. If you need help with something, or have a question call me at (916) 600-7074 or email me at shadowphoenix56@sbcglobal.net. I will do my best to help you out. I do need to hear from Christine Moles!! Please be sensitive to Bonnie’s needs and not bother her at this time! Thank you.
