Does anyone know the name and author of the book that Bonnie Boss was telling us about for Med/Surg nursing? I have looked and found one that looks close to what she showed us but I am not sure its the same one.
Hello Bonnie, When you came to visit the study skills class before Nursing 1 started you had mentioned a condenced version of the Med/Surg for nursing. Someone said it is the same book that we already have its just a narrowed down version. I wanted to know if thats correct or if it a different book that just makes it easier? Thanks
Thats the book Jayme! It is really handy and has some good comparison charts for disease processes that are similar. For example.... Emphysema and chronic bronchitis,pg.123; Meningitis, Encephalitis and brain abscesses, pg 203; I take this with me rather than the big heavy medsurg book. It is right to the point and tells you your nursing diagnoses and and care.
I am not sure which book you are interested in either. I will be glad to help out.
